Joseph Delahunt has been pastor at Silliman Baptist since 1998. Before that he was a member of Silliman while serving as the Northeast Regional Director of the Christian Medical & Dental Society. He and his wife LaRee have long felt a call to urban ministry; and have lived in Bridgeport for 28 years, raising their family here.  Joe is a native of Bridgeport area. He came to faith in Christ and was nurtured at Black Rock Congregational Church. His call to ministry came during his college years at the University of Virginia. He served in campus ministry for many years beginning at the University of Bridgeport, then briefly at Yale and then with medical students throughout the Northeast.
